MANILA, Philippines - Traffic on the main thoroughfares of Metro Manila, namely EDSA and C5 were on their way back to the levels prior to the first lockdown of March 2020. This would have given the beleaguered Out-Of-Home Media industry the very necessary boost to get advertisers opting for out-of-home as a viable media channel.
Data showed by Moving Walls pointed at the upswing of traffic on the two thoroughfares as it approached March 2021. Unfortunately, another enhanced community quarantine was called by the government and as such, the industry expects that this momentum may slow down again.
Moving Walls may publish again their findings in the following month to analyze how traffic slowed down in this recent ECQ which ended last April 13, 2021.
