The JAG Billboard on EDSA-Ortigas is enjoying extra viewership because of an artwork beside it!

The Philippines' largest abstract artwork is located in Barangay Wack-Wack/Greenhills East, Mandaluyong City.

The JAG billboard on the EDSA Ortigas intersection is really enjoying a lot of viewership these days because of an artwork beside it. Recently, I created the Philippines' largest abstract painting.  The painting was too big to display in an art gallery, so I hung it on an EDSA billboard.

Talk about being at the right place at the right time, the JAG billboard is enjoying extra mileage offline and online because of the feature articles showing the two billboard structures.  JAG on the left and the painting on the right.

Talk about merging OOH and Digital!  The features in digital have already appeared in Artplus Magazine, Adobo Magazine, Manila Bulletin and other well visited websites.

Here is a brief background on the art project:

In celebration of the National Arts Month 2021, a Mandaluyong-based artist from Negros painted the Philippines' largest abstract painting measuring 62 feet high by 40 feet wide. It is too big for display in an art gallery so it is now displayed on an EDSA billboard located in Mandaluyong City at the corner of EDSA and Ortigas Avenues.

Artist Lloyd Tronco painted the work, "Alab ng Sining" using acrylic on vinyl. See it on EDSA near the POEA building until March 14, 2021.

Negros Island bred but Mandaluyong-based artist, Lloyd Tronco, stands before his work which is the largest abstract artwork in the Philippines.
